Die große Leidenschaft von Maria Teresa Rebelo ist die Biotechnologie. Sie ist fasziniert von biologischen Prozessen und die Möglichkeit mit Biotechnologie lebenswichtige Produkte wie Vitamine, Insulin, Artemisinin und Taxol herzustellen, sowie nachhaltigere Landwirtschaftstechniken und neue Energieträger zu entwickeln. Frau Rebelo studiert daher seit 2020 an der Technischen Universität München chemische Biotechnologie und möchte zukünftig an Lösungen für globale Herausforderungen in den Bereichen Gesundheit und Umwelt arbeiten.

Teresa Rebelo's great passion is biotechnology. She is fascinated by biological processes and the possibility of using biotechnology to produce vital products such as vitamins, insulin, artemisinin and taxol, as well as to develop more sustainable agricultural techniques and new energy sources. Ms Rebelo has therefore been studying chemical biotechnology at the Technical University of Munich since 2020 and would like to work on solutions for global challenges in the areas of health and environment in future.
